Design Research + Proposal
During a personal data experiment tracking my digital habits, one specific event caught my attention—an unplanned, unintentional binge-watch of an entire season of a Netflix show. Unloop was inspired by this realization, designed to bring more clarity and self-awareness to the way we watch content.

Personas + User Flows
Sofia and Malik were created to represent two different streaming behaviors and frustrations. Sofia wants more control over repetitive recommendations, while Malik wants to better understand and manage his viewing habits and set streaming goals for himself. Designing around both perspectives directly shaped Unloop’s features.
Information Architecture + Wireframing
During testing, I originally found that users struggled to digest complex streaming metrics in the data tab of my app's IA. To simplify the information architecture, and make the app feel approachable rather than overwhelming, I proposed a nested doll and hierarchy structure to create a clear, four-tab layout (activity, data, goals, and explore).
Visual Identity
I designed Unloop’s visual identity to make streaming self-reflection feel lighter and more shareable. The design system keeps the experience consistent and recognizable, while the playful visuals make it feel personal instead of overly data-driven.

The final screens bring all of Unloop’s pieces together—from exploring streaming habits and personal insights to setting goals and shaping future recommendations.
