Objective: Develop a compelling and cohesive visual identity for a hypothetical publication, including a distinctive wordmark, refined visual system, cover design, table of contents, and a fully refined feature and interview article

Magazine Identity Development
In creating a sports and lifestyle magazine identity, I knew I wanted to cover more than just the dynamics of a specific sport; Instead, REBOWND magazine is specifically aimed to challenge the status quo in sports culture by empowering athletes to emerge stronger from past injustices.

Wordmark Ideation
The name of the magazine, rebownd with a "w" and not a "u", symbolizes the hard-earned wins—or "w's"—we gain when we push through challenges, and rebownd prioritizes showcasing these victories.

Digital Wordmark Iterations
To make my wordmark embody empowerment, I visually represented the uplifting power of rebownd through open counters, the connected letterforms, and bold, vertical contrast harmony.

Visual System
During the creation of the magazine spreads, I put together a magazine visual system for REBOWND, identifying key guidelines designers must follow to fit within the visual identity of the magazine.

Final Deliverables
The final magazine features a cover with the wordmark and a table of contents previewing potential articles. While only the feature and interview articles were fully developed, all spreads align with REBOWND’s visual branding, inspiring athletes to break past imposed limits.
