Objective: To build a website tailored to a client's specific needs and brand identity, ensuring a seamless user experience, visually compelling design, and functionality.

Brainstorming
After taking a look at the initial website design, I worked hands-on with the clients, Holding Space Collaborative founders Breanna and Kristen, to understand their needs for an efficient website user-interface.

Brainstorming Notes

Brand Guidelines
While creating brand guidelines to maintain visual consistency, I aimed to evoke a calming energy by drawing inspiration from nature, making the brand feel more welcoming to consumers.

Icon Iterations
After offering multiple icon iterations to the clients to represent the services Holding Space Collaborative offers, the clients chose a simplistic but friendly icon style that would transfer to other publications effectively.

UX Modifications
The original site was organized all on one page, with a simple scroll set-up. I streamlined the user-experience by simplifying all the content into a drop-down menu and focusing on hierarchy in each page composition.
